Our Autumn has been a little strange here in New Jersey.  Initially we had very little color in the trees. Ralph and I were saying that it was starting to feel disappointing.  But as the weeks have gone on, we’ve started to realize that it’s a good thing.  We had a little color in some areas, then a little in other areas.  Now we’ve got trees in all stages of color which is actually a wonderful thing.  You see the trees which got their color early are now a little dreary but are brightened by colors coming from the trees taking on color now.

As we pulled into the parking lot at the gym Thursday morning (yes…I go to the gym now!!) I was delighted to see this series of trees.

Riverwind trees

It’s hard to see but there are three trees here.  I thought they were so beautiful and the epitome of Autumn.  I hope that where ever you are, you’re having a beautiful Autumn!

Be sure to take a few minutes to visit Saturday Snapshot over at West Metro Mommy Reads to check out what everyone is sharing.

Happy Saturday!

  1. What a lovely colour- I can see why you feel it to be the epitome of autumn. It’s officially spring here in Australia, but the weather is more like summer- it’s been pretty hot and there have been bushfires already.

  2. I love seeing your autumn photos as we enjoy our Spring 🙂
The orange colour on those trees is incredible.

  3. Lovely! Ours are a little past their prime now.

  4. Those trees are gorgeous! The perfect autumnal shade of orange, they feel so cheery. Thanks for sharing…and for visiting my blog.

  5. What beautiful, glowing color! A storm blew through the Pacific Northwest recently, stripping the leaves from trees, so there’s not much autumn color left. I’m glad you’re savoring yours.
    Here are my Saturday Snapshots.

  6. Oh, what fabulous colours! Most of our trees are well past their best now – our autumn turned a little wet! My Snapshot is at http://chriscross53.blogspot.co.uk/2014/11/poppis-at-tower.html

  7. Oh, I love that orange color! Most of our leaves came off over the last two days and lay upon the 4 inches of snow. Now even they are covered up with another inch of snow that fell last night. Thanks for your lovely autumn color.

  8. Gorgeous!! I’m from Ohio where there are fall colors everywhere, but here in Florida I rarely see a tree with changing colors 😦

Thanks for sharing this photo, especially from those of us who don’t get to see a big change when fall comes around.
