While I was sick, I didn’t have a lot of food photos to share on What I Ate Wednesday, so I started saving them up and only posting food on WIAW. I think I’m liking that idea and may continue with it. It’ll depend on the week and what’s going on. A work in progress as my life always seems to be!

Crock pot veggie soup with crock pot black beans and cottage cheese, can we say yum?!
My current favorite go-to lunch…cottage cheese on rice cakes topped with Mrs. Dash-Fiesta Lime. For me on Weight Watchers…4 Points! Love it!
Oatmeal at a new diner that opened locally. Not sure about it. I’ll have to eat there again and try something more substantial to be able to judge it. Oatmeal was good.
Another trip to Taco Bell…this time black bean burritos! I’m so happy these were added to their menu…Excellent!

True confessions…I ate pizza on Sunday…I survived!
Ok…seriously…this was one of the tastiest things I’ve ever come up with…not to pat myself on the back. There’s fresh cooked quinoa under there. I sautéed onions, garlic and Aldi’s Mrs Dash substitute in veggie broth, then added crock pot black beans and frozen edamame. Topped it all with some Locatelli cheese. This was so delicious…I think I’ll make it again while I still have all the ingredients! So Good.
To go along with the title today, I am feeling very successful with my efforts at being mindful with my food. I’ve tracked everything and I’m staying within my Weight Watchers Points very successfully…even with the pizza. I am focused on staying on track throughout these Holidays and so far, I’ve lost weight each week. I’m charging along to get back to my personal weight goal. If there is no huge monkey wrench that gets thrown into my plan…I might celebrate the New Year at MY Goal!! It could happen!
