Over the past week, I’ve not been eating much so I actually contemplated not participating in What I Ate Wednesday, but then I said…Why?! I have some food to share and I’ll do with it what I can. I hate to miss WIAW and since Jenn at Peas & Crayons will be hosting it anyway…I’m participating anyway!
I’m still reveling in the joy of free iced coffee from Dunkin’ Donuts.
It makes my day, regardless of how I feel.
Wonderful oatmeal at a local diner. This is really so good, I’d like to go there every morning!
Did a little shopping and picked up some green tea and ginger tea. I think they will make a good combo. They’re both supposed to be so good for me.
Tuesday found us celebrating my best friend, Gail’s birthday. We headed to a local buffet.
Unfortunately, after building a beautiful salad plate…I forgot to take a photo! Guess I was just too hungry. 😦 Well, that does happen some times!
I did get a shot of my second plate.
Odd combo but very tasty, rice with sautéed onions and peppers, corn, macaroni and cheese and lots of broccoli. Many, many carbs. Very good!
I had some soft serve ice cream which was very good. I didn’t realize that we were going home for birthday cake…
Cake and home-made blueberry pie. I had the pie which was really good. Gail’s brother made it. I need his recipe!
Gail and Alice kidding around. We’ve all been friends for so long…we’re allowed to be a little goofy. Happy Birthday, Gail!
