After all of the eating we did in Maine last weekend, I was very concerned about what my result would be at Weight Watchers today. I knew I had used all of my bonus Points for the week while we were away. With the new program lowering my daily points from 29 to 26, I knew I had my work cut out for me. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday I did my best to be on track and stay within my 26 points. I had lots of veggies on hand and I kept away from snacks (including the apple fritter Ralph bought for me on Wednesday.)
To my surprise, when I got weighed this morning, I lost 1.2 pounds! Excellent! I’m excited that I was able to accomplish that. Now to keep up with it. In class we talked about being mindful of our foods and staying focused. Those of you who have read BCDC for a while know that I struggle with focus. But Focus is going to be my Focus for the rest of the year and into 2012. Now all I have to do is…Do It! 😉
My current lack of focus has caused me to only photograph 1 meal yesterday and today so far. Had my camera with me at breakfast today…forgot to do it!
Here’s yesterday’s breakfast…
Fat free vanilla yogurt, Fiber One and the raspberries I got at the produce market earlier in the week. Pretty tasty. I love Fiber One. It actually makes a good snack and I should remember that more often.
Fortunately our Christmas cards came in yesterday so I spent last night addressing the ones that have long distances. Today I’ll be finishing them up. Once they’ve gone in the mail, I’ll share the artwork that Ralph did with all of you. It’s very cute!
Lots on the agenda today. Hopefully, I will have a productive day. I wish all of you the same thing!
