We got to the airport in plenty of time for our flight to Clearwater and then the fun began…
We were about 20 minutes from boarding when we realized we were at the wrong gate AND the wrong terminal!! But Alice took charge and commandeered a cart which got us from Terminal A to Terminal C in about 10 minutes. We got there just as the plane was boarding.
Our flight was comfortable and uneventful which is how I like them. We got to Tampa and our ride (Gail’s brother, Ray) was there in no time.
We were all pretty hungry so we headed to one of our favorites…Taco Bell.
Soft tacos with beans instead of beef. Very good…but then I found out they were 5 Points and a hard taco would have been only 4. 😦 Well, I guess I know what I’m having for lunch from now on!
We did some unpacking and then rested a while before dinner.
We went to a place called The Island Outpost
It’s a fun place with music on Sunday nights. Steel drum music that made us want to dance…well in our chairs, at least! 😉
I had veggie fajitas.
Really delicious and filling too!
We took a walk over to the pool after dinner. I didn’t take a picture of the pool because other people were in it and I didn’t want them to think I was taking their picture! 😉 But I’ll get some while we’re here.
How about a sunset and a palm tree instead…
It should be a nice day so we’ll be at the pool trying not to burn to a crisp!
More to come…Happy Monday!!
