Wow! I just came across your blog….It was so touching to read about your memories of George. We were together for 18 years and I still miss him every day. Warm regards, Gary
Thank you, Gary. He was one of the best friends I ever had. Hope you are well.

Hi Fran – Yes, sharing names with Beach Boys and major league baseball players and former TV newzies is a burden – especially when you’re “in the biz”, too as a former-DJ-now-Talk-Show-Host.
I wrote the “lollipop” line composing an email response to a listener while on KSFO/San Francisco circa 1998. When I subsequently used it on the air, it got such a great response, I began using it as my email’s sig tag line and thus it spread — all the way to Google!
I’m still annoying people on the air, pounding on the keyboard and scribbling other bon motes occasionally fit for human consumption.
Thanks for liking.

Well, Brian…thanks for clarifying and I do apologize! I always try to give credit where credit is due in my blog life and in real life. If someone I know says something funny or smart and I share it, I always give them credit. It sort of urks me when I don’t get the same respect in return. I’m curious how you found that I used your quote…could it be…Google…it also urks me that people use that as a verb. As I read your page, I notice that you are a New Jersey boy. Even though I still live in NJ, I think it’s a good place to be “from.” My husband and I will hopefully be moving to New Mexico, soon. Thanks for your comment…I appreciate it!! Atlas Shrugged is on my to-read list…now that’s a book you have to make a commitment to. Of course, my 17 year old grandson has already read it… Thanks again!
Came across your blog. Love the title!
Glad you like the title, Kyra. Thanks for stopping by, please visit again. I’ve gotten more into link parties lately only just having found them. I do a Strange But Good that’s hosted by Laura at Sprint 2 The Table, that would probably be good from what you said on your post. have a great day!
Thanks for that Fran! I’ll be sure to check it out and join in!
You’re welcome. See you soon!
